DFB Pokal?
How does qualification work for playing in the DFB Pokal now that there is a 3. Liga?

Ich plädiere nach wie vor dafür, daß erst nach ca.100 Posts ein Thread aufgemacht werden darf. Geistige Reife und fehlerfreies verständliches Schreiben könnte bis dahin ja soweit getestet werden. Ich schlage gleich mal Ralphonso als das Tester-Fallbeil vor... :wink:

DFB-Pokal-Teilnehmer aus den Amateurligen
Für den DFB-Pokal der Saison 2008/2009 gilt letztmals die Regel, dass neben den 18 Bundesligisten und 18 Zweitbundesligisten der abgelaufenen Saison folgende 28 Amateurmannschaften für den DFB-Pokal qualifiziert sind: die Verbandspokalsieger der 21 Landesverbände und die jeweils Erst- und Zweitplatzierten der abgelaufenen Spielzeit in den Regionalligen Süd und Nord. Zudem darf jeweils ein weiterer Amateurklub aus den drei DFB-Landesverbänden, welche die meisten Herrenmannschaften im Spielbetrieb haben, am DFB-Pokal teilnehmen. In der Regel sind dies die Verlierer des Verbandspokal-Endspiels.
Ab dem 1. Juli 2008 tritt die folgende Regelung in Kraft:
An den Spielen um den DFB-Vereinspokal auf DFB-Ebene nehmen 64 Mannschaften, und zwar die Mannschaften der Bundesliga und der 2. Bundesliga des abgelaufenen Spieljahres, die Verbandspokalsieger der 21 Landesverbände, der Meister, der Zweit-, Dritt- und Viertplatzierte der 3. Liga des abgelaufenen Spieljahres teil.
Zweite Mannschaften von Lizenzvereinen sind ab der Spielzeit 2008/2009 an den Spielen um den DFB-Vereinspokal nicht teilnahmeberechtigt.
Entscheidend ist der Status des Vereins in der jeweiligen Spielzeit, in der der DFB-Vereinspokal ausgetragen wird. Handelt es sich bei einem Verbandspokalsieger um eine Zweite Mannschaft eines Lizenzvereins, so tritt an ihre Stelle die nächstplatzierte und teilnahmeberechtigte Mannschaft im Pokal-Wettbewerb des Landesverbandes.
Ist der Meister, der Zweit-, Dritt- oder Viertplatzierte der 3. Liga eine Zweite Mannschaft eines Lizenzvereins oder ist der Meister, der Zweit-, Dritt- oder Viertplatzierte der 3. Jeder Landesverband muss mit mindestens einer Amateur-Mannschaft vertreten sein.
